People found it around 1960, and still keep studying it recently. Good, don't stop following it until we learn more from it. Finding is already a wonderful job, and keep looking at it over 40 years, that's amazing.

I just try to look at the people studying it. How hard was it to conduct each experiment? How long they have to wait to collect the right specimen? One of them lived near the place for few years.

What about the financial support for the study? I couldn't find much motivation from any industry in this amazing creature. So only government funding would be available. How solid was that support?

The study will keep going as there's more to discover.
